We had a fantastic convention in Cincinnati, October 8-10 and we send special thanks to Dennis Estell and his Tri-State Chapter for their wonderful hospitality and openess! Many great chapter reports were given about the wonderful love and compassion to others is shown through members of Pilots for Christ, International. I know that I am re-energized and committed to increasing membership and fundraising, through prayer, so we can continue to help those in need.
Also, Our International President Lee DeArmond announced that next year's convention will be in Wyoming, "The Cowboy State", exact time and location to be determined, so save up now so you can attend our first ever convention out West and enjoy God's beauty!

October 3, 2010
Lori and I flew to Pontiac, MI Aiport (PTK) Sunday October 3, 2010 to meet with members from the Detroit area. In attendance were Nancy, Gene, Charlene, Lori, Tim, and Jim. The meeting reviewed Old and New Business and asked the Southeast side of Michigan to possible start a wing (Squardron) of the Michigan Chapter. Tim went over shiftboard (Internet) scheduling software, The Michigan Chapter web-site, missions and activities, such as National Day of Prayer, and Patriots Day. We asked for prayer requests and prayed for all in attendance, safe flight and individuals that each person suggested to us. Overall a very successful meeting to honor Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Everyone went out to see the Mooney and visit with Jim as he returned from his flight to Denver, CO. on a corporate trip.
Please pray for Jim as he works on a new assignment. Also pray for Nancy as she leads our prayer requests, through fasting and prayer.

August 1, 2010
From: Member Nancy Waselowich
After visiting the veterans cemetary in Holly, as I was driving home, I saw the sign for Pontiac airport and felt a strong "impression" that I should stop but I had no idea of the purpose. I followed the leading (as I stopped for lunch I was surprised the kid waiting on me knew directions to the airport mentioning that his father owns a plane) so upon approaching the airport in prayer as I pulled in the parking lot an EMS vehicle pulled in exactly at the same time. On our way into the building, I found out they were picking up a lady who was transported from Florida due to emergency health situation. The company (transport medical patients)----it is not a charity. boss was there and I mentioned I was a member of Pilots for Christ and I would like to pray for this lady. They were more than happy and I was amazed of the way the Lord led me there at the "right" time to pray for her. 5 minutes later would have been too late. Then the Lord provided the witness as I prayed outloud for the safety of the plane taking off to return to North Carolina. He had a nice smile on his face. PRAISE THE LORD!!
